Janaza Workshop

Death is a natural phenomena in our lives. It’s something that our nature totally detests and fears, as it entails leaving the world we have dwelled in for many years.

Say, “The death you are running away from will inevitably come to you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the seen and unseen, and He will inform you of what you used to do.” Quran 62:8

We need to however come to terms with this reality, live in the best of ways and prepare to leave in the best of ways.

We also need to be prepared in the case where family and community are tested with death and respond adequately by making ourselves familiar with the various concepts surrounding death.

Join Imam Mazhar Mahmood on Saturday January the 14th at 6:30 p.m. for a Janaza workshop, in shā Allāh.

We will have a workshop which speaks to dealing with somebody who is experiencing death until they’ve passed and had the various Islamic traditions performed until their burial is completed.

May Allāh grant us productive long lives with perpetual ‘āfiyah (well being). May Allāh encompass these lives of ours with His unconditional Mercy and blessings. May Allāh inspire us to live in a way where He is pleased with us and be prepared to leave in a manner where He is pleased with us.
