Voter Registration at IFP
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Election time is coming up soon. It is the civic duty of all citizens of this country of ours to participate in its democracy. Therefore, every eligible person MUST vote !
To qualify for voter registration in Illinois, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be a resident of Illinois for at least 30 days.
- Be at least 18 years old (if you are 17 years old, can vote in the General Primary election IF you will be 18 years old on or before the General Election).
Illinois General Election on : Nov 6, 2018
Early Voting: Sep 27, 2018 – Nov 5, 2018
Voter Registration Deadline: Tue Oct 9, 2018
IMPORTANT:
Requirements for Voter Registration: Each person will need two pieces of ID, such as, drivers license, state ID, passport, a bill, and at least one has to have their current address on it. You would also be asked if you would like to vote early by mail and if so, your ballot can be ordered.
And Remember that literally EVERY SINGLE VOTE COUNTS ! So let your voice be heard !
