Eid Al-Fitr will be either on Sunday June 25, or Monday June 26; Depending on the moonsighting by Chicago Hilal Committee.

Eid Prayer:

Time: Prayer starts at 8:00AM (Takbeer starts at 7:30AM)

Location: ICP (4125 W Charter Oak Rd, Peoria IL 61615

Prayer Arrangement:
  • Brothers will be praying in men’s prayer hall; and any overflow will be in Gym
  • Sisters will be praying in sisters’ prayer hall in the second floor; and any overflow will be in the front section of the Basement Community Hall (area will be marked)
Arrival and Parking: 
  • Please start arriving at 7:15 am.
  • All parking spots in front of school building and playground area is dedicated for sisters only
  • Brothers will be parking in the parking lot around the Masjid building
  • Brothers coming with families have to drop off their families at roundabout and then proceed for parking. 
Brunch after Prayer:
  • Please bring 2 dishes to share: one for sisters and one for brothers
  • Sisters will eat in the Basement Banquet Hall (the entire hall will be dedicated for Sisters only)
  • Brothers will eat in the Gym (half of the Gym will be dedicated for brothers only)
Kids Activities:
  • Kids Fun on The Run activities will be located in half of the Gym after Eid prayer till 12:30pm.
Mt Hawley Bowling followed by Eid Dinner at IFP :
  • Lanes are reserved from 3:00-6:00pm at Mt Hawley Bowling on the Eid day for youth and adults
  • There is no charge for bowling
  • Tell at the door that you are joining “Ramadan Eid Reservation”
  • Please join us and celebrate Eid with your Muslim brothers and sisters
  • The event will be followed by Asr prayer and then Eid Dinner at 6:30pm @ Masjid Salam/IFP  
Donation: (requested at the doors as a contribution towards expenses) at Prayer and Dinner Times :
  • Families: $20 per family at Salah time and  $30 per family at Dinner time.
  • Singles: $10 per person at Salah time as well as at Dinner time.

Ramadan Events:

  1. Daily Taraweh prayers by young Huffaz from Chicago and summary of the Suras recited by Imam Mufti.
  2. May 31st, Iftar BBQ
  3.  June 10th, Women’s garment sale on Saturday  from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
  4.  June 16th – June 18th, Community Itikaf for Men and Boys from Isha to Maghreb; Friday night to Sunday.
  5.  June 18th, ” Ask the Doctor ” session on Sunday from 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm.
  6.  June 23rd, Henna night for Sisters on Friday.
  7.  June 25th or 26th, Eid prayers at ICP at 8 a.m. Community Eid Dinner at IFP at 6:30pm same day.
